Commit to filling a table of 10 (including yourself) by inviting friends, colleagues, or family who have a connection to rowing or an interest in supporting and celebrating the sport in Queensland.
Communication
Act as the main point of contact for your guests in the lead-up to the lunch, ensuring they have key event details and know what to expect on the day.
On-the-Day Hosting
Arrive early to welcome your guests, make introductions, and help foster relaxed conversation and networking throughout the lunch.
QRowUnion Advocacy
Share, in a personal and informal way, why you support QRowUnion and what the lunch represents—connection, tradition, and community within Queensland rowing.
Post-Event Connection
After the event, follow up with a brief thank-you message to your guests, reinforcing the shared experience and the value of being part of the QRowUnion network.
Why Be a Table Captain?
As a Table Captain, you are more than an attendee—you are a leader and connector. You play an important role in growing the QRowUnion community, shaping the atmosphere of Queensland’s premier rowing lunch, and ensuring guests leave feeling welcomed, inspired, and proud to be part of the rowing family.
